Pano Fimis and Malcolm Spence each scored twice as the Erie Otters took the first game on the road in their best-of-seven series of the 2025 OHL Playoffs against the defending Memorial Cup Champions in the Saginaw Spirit.
In a non-prototypical playoff game, 22 different skaters recorded at least one point in tonight’s high-scoring 8-5 contest at the Dow Event Center.
Saginaw gave up eight in the second period but bounced back in the third with three of their own.
Look for the Spirit to come out soaring on Saturday evening at home in this Western Conference battle in a spirited four versus five matchup.
