The Western Conference's second seeded Windsor Spitfires made a statement in Game 1 of their 2025 OHL Playoffs opener, outshooting the Greyhounds 37-16 en route to a 7-2 win on home ice in front of 4586.

Spitfires goaltender Joey Costanzo was not the busiest goaltender in the world but made 14 saves for the victory, while Nolan Lalonde suffered the loss making 30 saves on 37 shots.
Game 2 between these two clubs goes Saturday at the WFCU Centre at 7:05pm.
